Shark fishing charters are a full day trip that lasts up to 10 hours. Charters usually leave the dock at 5:00 am and return about 3:00 pm.

The day begins with trolling for fresh bluefish to supplement our frozen bait and chum. We then head offshore (10-25 miles off Block Island) to set up a drift, and create a slick that draws in the target species. Sharks common to the area include mako, thresher and blue. We see an occasional dusky. Who knows what other species may surprise!

Please note that most sharks we catch are promptly photographed, tagged, and released. There are a few edible species that we are allowed by law to capture. As the rules and regulations are ever-changing, please chat with the captain concerning what we can and cannot harvest.
