FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
CHARTER PAYMENTS:
Deposits for charters can be made by Credit Card or Check at the time of booking.

Balance is due on the day of charter. Cash is preferred.
MATE’S TIP:
Mates work for tips. 20% is customary. On the rare occasion when there are two Mates working on Board, they will share the tip. In the event there is no Mate on board, no tip is necessary or expected.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
We realize that life happens and plans change. We Simply ask that as much notice be given as possible when charters need to be changed or canceled. Every effort will be made to find an alternative date for the charter and re-book the vacated date. Charters canceled the day before (by the charterer), and no-shows, will forfeit their deposit.
WEATHER POLICY:
If the Captain cancels the trip due to dangerous weather conditions, every effort will be made to rebook your charter to another date during the season. If another trip is not booked, due to the Captains cancellation's, then the deposit will be refunded.
HARVESTED FISH POLICY:
Aerie One is subject to Federal (NMFS) and RI State regulations. Due to the permits in place, harvested Bluefin Tuna measuring 73” and above are the property Aerie Charters LLC. In these cases, the charterer will be entitled to a 25% discount on their next charter within the following 12 months. All other fish harvested belongs to the charterer, and will be cleaned, iced and packaged for the trip home.
FISHING LICENSES:
Charter customers fishing aboard Aerie One do not require any supplemental fishing licenses.
BAIT & TACKLE:
All bait and tackle are provided. If charter customers have rods/reels or lures that they wish to use, we encourage that. Please mention this before the trip so that we can plan ahead.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Please wear sneakers or soft-sole boat shoes. Open shoes or flip-flops are not allowed on the fishing deck. No hard-sole shoes are allowed on board. Dress in layers for the weather. Hats, sunscreen and lip balm are a must.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE:
Please limit the number of coolers for the charter in order to save space. Coolers on board should be filled with food and beverages for the day. Please leave extra coolers for fish in your vehicle. We will package them for you, upon our return. Small quantities of Beer and Wine are permitted. Please, no hard liquor or glass bottles.
DRUG & ALCOHOL POLICY
Aerie One is a federally permitted vessel and adheres to federal Drug and Alcohol rules and regulations for Passenger Vessels. The possession of controlled substances is strictly forbidden for all Crew-Members and Passengers. Crew-Members are also prohibited from consuming or being under the influence of Alcohol.
